BigCommerce, Cloudinary, Ecommpay and Genesys wanted to engage c-suite and senior decision makers across the retail industry; those individuals that are often the hardest to reach. They sought to position themselves as front-of–mind partners to help these retailers with their growth strategies through a combination of brand awareness and lead generation.
THE SOLUTION
Retail Week’s best-performing report, Retail 100, is an annual celebration of the industry’s most influential individuals. It was the optimum campaign to enable our partners to benefit from unrivalled access to the biggest decision-makers in retail, with extensive branding and digital lead generation throughout.
Published in June 2024, the Retail 100 recognised the work of c-suite leaders transforming the sector, disrupting traditional retail models and being a voice for industry. The report was hosted behind a data-capture page, with partners provided with GDPR-compliant leads to download.
Campaign marketing included:
- Four online teaser content articles featured on Retail-Week.com and morning briefing newsletters
- Social content and dedicated launch takeover across Twitter (100,000+ followers) and LinkedIn
- Native advertising on Retail-Week.com
- A six-week marketing campaign to our database of retail professionals
The 2024 edition generated almost 1,500 leads and the report got the industry talking. Amazon UK boss John Boumphrey, TRPG chair Theo Paphitis, EE retail director Asif Aziz, Majestic Wine, New Look and the BRC were among the leaders and businesses that shared the report on their social channels.
