THE BRIEF
Our clients Endava, Uniserve and Zebra wanted to benefit from one-on-one time with the sector’s most influential bosses.
Alongside networking and making valuable connections, they also wanted to be privy to Chatham House rule conversations where retail leaders openly shared the challenges and opportunities facing their businesses.
THE SOLUTION
Retail Week’s annual Summer Leaders’ Dinner is one of the most highly anticipated c-suite networking events in the retail calendar. Regularly attended by some of the most influential industry leaders, the event was organised to enable partners Endava, Uniserve and Zebra to build relationships with senior leaders and gain firsthand accounts of the biggest issues retailers are tackling.
Hosted on June 5 at The Jumeirah, Carlton Tower, Knightsbridge, the dinner welcomed 50 top retail bosses and c-suite directors, including names from Primark, Ocado, Fortnum & Mason and Fat Face, for invaluable conversation and networking over drinks and a three-course meal.
Guests were also granted access to a keynote speech from B&Q CEO Graham Bell, who discussed how he has steered the DIY retailer to success over the last six years while navigating difficult choices around people strategy.
Feedback from the leaders in attendance was glowing, with one retail boss noting the benefit of “lots of new faces” in the room, another having “enjoyed Graham’s storytelling of his journey”, and one boss remarking that the night was full of “great conversation and great company”.
Following the success of the Summer Leaders’ Dinner, 50 leaders have already confirmed their attendance for the Winter Leaders’ Dinner in November 2025.
